About Us

Parminder Makkar was born and raised in Bathinda, Punjab India. He went to Punjabi University, Patiala, Punjab where he finished his Bachelor of Science and obtained a Master’s Degree in Botany. Parminder Started his career in Banking in India and worked as Branch Manager in one of the leading private banks, Bank Of Punjab Ltd. He Immigrated to Vancouver, Canada in 2005.

Parminder started his first job as Supervisor, with State Bank of India (Canada). After working there for 2 years, he moved to Bank of Montreal in 2007 as Financial Services Manager and worked there until 2011. Before becoming Notary Public, he worked as Mortgage and Financial Advisor until 2018 independently. 

Parminder always had a passion for Law and it always fascinated him. Parminder joined Simon Fraser University in 2015 and did Master’s in Applied Legal Studies (MA-ALS) in 2017 and he wrote licensing exams for Notary and was commissioned as Notary Public at The Supreme Court of British Columbia in June 2018. He has been practicing as Notary Public at Little India Plaza, Surrey since then
